Hi there! I’m Courtney, a single mom, business owner, and a woman who has walked through a lot to get to where I am today. If you’re reading this, I want you to know that you’re not alone in your messy, beautiful journey of motherhood, entrepreneurship, or faith.
A few years ago, I bought a digital marketing business under the name Cause Digital Marketing. On the outside, things were going okay—but inside, I felt like something was missing. I wasn’t being true to myself, and I certainly wasn’t living out my faith in a way that felt aligned with my purpose.
So, I did something crazy—I rebranded to Messy Brave Media. It was a leap of faith, but it was also a surrender. I knew I couldn’t keep pretending to have it all together when my heart and my purpose were calling me to something more real. Messy Brave isn’t just a name. It’s a reminder to embrace the mess of life and the bravery it takes to walk in faith, even when you feel like you’re walking through the fire.
I’ve had my share of struggles—recovering from addiction, becoming business owner, and raising my child as a single mom through a traumatic divorce. But through it all, I’ve found that God’s grace is bigger than my mistakes, my fears, and my doubts. Now, I’m on a mission to lead my child and my clients to Christ, helping them build lives and businesses that honor Him and their true callings in this life.
